Start A Gym!
The GymCrafters Way
Four Steps to a Brand New Gym
At GymCrafters we sweat the details so you can focus on making sure your gym is everything you want it to be. Our tried and true four-step process is guaranteed to make your transition as a new gym owner as seamless as possible.
Step 1.
Talk It Out / Financing
Once we determine your needs, the GymCrafters Finance Department goes to work securing the funding you will need for your new Gym or Fitness Center. Our Finance Manager will do whatever it takes to get you the financing you will need even if your credit is slightly blemished. Our methods include S.B.A. Loans, Mortgae Refinancing, Secured CD Loans, 401K Rollovers, IRA Rollovers, Business Lines of Credit, Signature Loans, Personal Loans, Financing, and Leasing.
Step 2.
Finding The Perfect Location
The Lease Department at GymCrafters uses the latest research tools when it comes to finding you the right location for your new Gym or Fitness Center. This is one of the most important and crucial factors to opening a successful Gym. We research every possible location based on demographics, income, competition, size, traffic count, anchor stores, cost, and visibility. Once we agree on the right location we start the process of negotiating your lease. GymCrafters is experienced when it comes to dealing with commercial leasing and this is definitely something you would not want to attempt by yourself. The GymCrafters Lease Department knows what clauses that need to be added or taken away from your lease. They will negotiate things such as Build-out, square footage pricing, CAM charges, and getting you as much free rent as possible. These are all important and vital factors for a sustainable successful gym and will literally save you thousands of dollars over the term of your lease.
Step 3.
Design, Buid-out, and Setup
Once your lease is signed and we have received your final payment we begin the design, build-out, and setup phase of your new Gym or Fitness Center. The GymCrafters Build-out Supervisor and Crew take care of all the necessary details such as pulling all the permits, starting the build-out, installing the mirrors, shelving, commercial carpeting, painting, commercial gym flooring, installing the front counter, 24 Hour Access Entry System, CCTV DVR and Security Camera Surveillance, professional sound system, lockers, fixtures, computer, setup of the Commercial Fitness Equipment, Wireless Cardio Theater, LG LCD TV's, Digital Signage, exterior and interior signage, and much, much, more.
Step 4.
Comprehensive Training / Pre-Sale Membership Drive
This is the final phase in opening up your new Gym or Fitness center. Once the Build-out Supervisor is finished one of our veteran GymCrafters coaches starts the boot-camp style training. Our training involves role-playing and covers incoming phone calls, greeting visitors, people skills, using The Fitness Profile for your clients, touring visitors, explaining the benefits of your equipment, presenting membership plans and rates, closing, handling objections, filling out paperwork, how to effectively get referrals, member retention, marketing, operations, business management, and promotional membership drives. This is also the time you and your staff will receive certification for using the Commercial Fitness Equipment and you will learn how to properly instruct clients on new workout programs. The last phase is conducting a Pre-Sale membership drive geared to enroll 100-500 new members before you even open your doors.
